Application Rules & Eligibility for Registration

If you want to apply for one of the spots at TYPO3 Surfcamp 2025, please ensure that you guarantee to abide to the following application rules:

You fall within our eligible age and experience range: Participants must be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the event. We are primarily looking for participants within the junior and professional experience range – participants from a senior level or above don't fall within our expected experience range.

You come from one of the eligible backgrounds: Individuals from PHP programming, frontend development, design, UX, marketing or project management backgrounds are eligible to participate. You should have worked with TYPO3 in some form or another already, too.

You are able to join us for the entire 7 days: TYPO3 Surfcamp will last for 7 days, during which participants will engage in coding activities, team projects, and optional surfing lessons. In order to enable close connections to be built, all participants have to be able to stay for the entire week.

You are willing and able to organize your own travel: Accommodation, meals & drinks as well as all additional group activities on the island are covered by the TYPO3 Association. You (or your employer) have to organize your flights to and from Fuerteventura yourself, though. Travel from and to the airport to the hotel will be organized by TYPO3. Please ensure that you make your travel arrangements well in advance to secure the best deals and to arrive in Fuerteventura on time for the start of TYPO3 Surfcamp. If you have any questions or need assistance with travel recommendations, feel free to reach out to our event organizers, and they will be happy to help.
